Who we are
Together, Unprocessed is a health and wellness podcast exploring real food, real healing, and real connection. We sell digital educational products and physical merchandise through Fourthwall, Inc. as our Merchant of Record.
To read and answer the comments and messages you send us on Instagram and Facebook, and to run our email list, we use Q, a creator platform operated by Substrate Systems OÜ, which processes this data for us. We also still operate our own automation app, TU n8n, which connects to Meta's Instagram and Facebook APIs. We are retiring it and moving what it does to Q.
What data we collect
When you interact with us on Instagram or Facebook, on our website, or by buying from us or booking with us, we may collect:
- Comments you leave on our posts, with your username or name and the platform's ID for your account
- Messages you send us on Instagram or Facebook, and the replies we send you
- A short reading of what each comment or message asked for, for example "asked a question" or "requested a guide". A reading describes the message, never you.
- Your email address when you sign up for a free guide, what you agreed to when you signed up, the page and link that brought you, and whether each of our emails reached you, was opened, clicked or answered
- What you bought from us and its order status, with your email address (see Payment data)
- Bookings you make with us through Calendly: whether a booking was made, cancelled, rescheduled or missed. We do not keep your name, phone number or answers to booking questions from it.
- When you download a guide, click a link on our site that takes you elsewhere, or arrive from one of our ads: the page, the campaign or link reference that brought you, the page you came from and your browser type
- Basic analytics (views, likes, shares, saves) from our own Instagram and Facebook accounts
What we do NOT collect
- Passwords or login credentials
- Your payment card details
- Data from accounts we do not own
Links in our messages, and your history with us
When you comment a keyword or message us, we may send you a link to a guide in a private message. That link carries a short reference to the message we sent. When you open it, our website keeps the reference in your browser for up to 7 days, so it is still there if you move to another page on our site. If you then sign up for a guide, download one, click an onward link or book a call, the reference is passed along, and we use it to connect that step to your conversation with us. Our signup form says so where it happens.
This lets us see your history with us in one place: your comments and messages, the reading of each one, and, where they are connected, your signup to our email list, the emails we sent you, your purchases and your bookings. Records are connected only on proof: the same Instagram or Facebook account, a link we sent you that you then used, or exactly the same email address on your signup, purchase or booking. We never guess from names, timing or browser details.
Because our audience often writes about health, your history shows no topic labels written by software, and it leaves out the readings of your private messages. We still see the messages themselves, as we do in our inbox.
We can see your history, and so can Q's staff when they support us. The combined history is never sold, never used to target advertising, never used to write replies to you, and never used to decide what you are offered. Separately, buying a product ends any email series we run to sell it to you, and we can leave buyers out of a one-off email about it.
Payment data
We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Fourthwall, Inc., which acts as Merchant of Record for all our paid products. Fourthwall is PCI-DSS compliant and handles all card data, billing information, and tax calculation. For details on how Fourthwall handles your data, see their privacy policy at fourthwall.com/privacy-policy.
How we use your data
- To read and answer your comments and messages, and to send you what a keyword campaign promised
- To understand what our audience asks about, so we can plan what we make
- To send the emails you signed up for, including occasional emails about our paid guides. You can unsubscribe at any time. When you buy one of our products, your email address and the product you bought are used to end any email series selling it to you, and to leave you out of one-off emails about it.
- To see which of our posts, messages and emails lead to signups, purchases and bookings
- To complete your purchase: Fourthwall processes purchase data for the transaction, fulfilment of physical orders, tax compliance and receipts
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Why we are allowed to
Where the GDPR applies, we read and answer your comments and messages, keep their readings and connect your history with us on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and answering what our audience asks us. You can object at any time. We send marketing emails on the basis of your consent, which you withdraw by unsubscribing. Purchase data is processed to complete the purchase you asked for.
Who processes it for us
- Q (Substrate Systems OÜ) stores and processes our comments and messages, their readings, our email list, our records of purchases and bookings, and your history with us, on our behalf.
- AI model providers used by Q receive the text of a comment or message in order to draft a reply or produce its reading. Under Q's agreements they do not keep it for training.
- Langfuse, a tracing service Q uses to monitor those AI calls, receives the text sent to a model and its answer. No automatic expiry is set on them yet, and erasing your data in Q does not yet reach them.
- Resend (United States) delivers our emails. Addresses collected before we moved our list to Q may also still be held by our previous email provider, Kit.
- Fourthwall handles purchases as our Merchant of Record, and Calendly handles bookings.
- Our own automation server (TU n8n) keeps a copy of each guide signup, each guide download, each click on a link we send you to another site and each visit from our ads, with the link reference or campaign that brought you, the page you came from and your browser type, while we retire it.
- Backblaze B2 holds Q's encrypted database backups.
Your comments and messages also pass through Instagram and Facebook, under Meta's own privacy policy.
Data retention
- Comments, messages and their readings are kept while our accounts are connected to Q, and deleted when you ask.
- Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Thirty days after you unsubscribe, or after your address bounces, your address is deleted and we keep only a one-way coded version of it, which cannot be turned back into it, so that we never email you again by mistake. Replies to our emails are deleted from Q after 180 days. Copies of emails we sent, and of replies, are kept by our delivery provider for its own limited retention period, and a forwarded copy of a reply may stay in our own mailbox.
- Purchases are kept as our record of sales. A year after a purchase, your email address is removed from it unless you are on our email list.
- Bookings are kept as our record of bookings. When your data is deleted, the link that connects a booking to you is removed.
- The link reference in your browser expires after 7 days.
- Q's backups can hold deleted data for up to four weeks, until the last copy holding it is replaced.
- Analytics data from our own accounts is aggregated on a weekly basis.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data under laws including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, European Union), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA, California, USA), and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA, Canada). These rights generally include:
- The right to access personal data we hold about you
- The right to request correction of inaccurate data
- The right to request deletion of your data
- The right to object to our use of your data, including connecting your records into one history
- The right to opt out of marketing communications
- The right to data portability
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@togetherunprocessed.com. Tell us the account you commented or messaged from, or the email address you signed up with. For purchase-related data held by Fourthwall, contact them directly via fourthwall.com.
Data deletion
You can request deletion of any data we hold about you. See our Data Deletion Instructions for details.
